1999 PIONEER
Pioneer is an elegant whisky made up of eight different cask types, one for each founder. With this blend of casks, it is a given that the result, the whisky, is also complex and multi-dimensional. The whisky begins as fruity-sweet in aroma but becomes more intense and spicy in taste. It then reaches its crescendo in the aftertaste, which offers even more depth and spice.

Nose
The aroma is complex and adult with hints of creamy vanilla, raisins and tropical fruits like mango and lychee. There are also berry notes of both blue and red berries and underlying notes of orange chocolate and spicy ginger.
Finish
The finish is long, complex and powerful. Spicy ginger and oak bitterness form the basis of this unexpected successor to the taste. But of course, both fruit and berry sweetness remain in the aftertaste, including some hints of dark chocolate.
Palate
The flavor is intense and contains all the elements that were in the aroma. The fruit is now more towards dried sweet fruit such as figs and raisins, and the berryiness is more towards blueberries. The taste also offers spicy elements, black pepper and ginger, as well as a good portion of vanilla.
