1999 GRAVITY
Gravity is an elegant ten-year-old whisky with two exclusive finishes as flavor profiles - cognac and calvados. And it does not go unnoticed that these two cask types account for 77% of the blend as apples and grapes are the most prominent flavors, nicely backed up by vanilla and fruit sweetness.
Volume: 70 cl / Alc: 46,4% Vol
Nose
The aroma is flirtatiously fruity and floral. The fruitiness is particularly striking, especially apples and grapes, but also pears and plantains. Vanilla and sugary sweet elements embrace the fruits and give the whisky a more homogeneous expression. At the top there is also a hint of lemongrass.
Finish
The finish is medium-long with a lot of fruit sweetness but also light bitterness in the form of orange peel, green tea and oak barrel tones. Long into the finish, some roasted nuts return along with subtle spicy elements and mild anise.
Palate
A balanced taste where all the elements from the aroma are also found in the taste. Vanilla, apple and grapes continue to dominate, but now there is also elderberry, gooseberry and citrus as well as green elements that go towards green tea.
